彼の頑張り
古くからの男友達とその彼女さんとの事。
男友達が「皆にも、こんな現実があるって分かってほしい」と話をされたのがつい先日。
結論から言うと、２人は残念ながら別々の道を行く結果になったそうです。
私達は知らなかったのですが、彼女さんは心が少し疲れていた様でした。
心療内科にもキチンと通院されていたそうです。
それでも一向によくならず、彼女自身も自暴自棄になったり涙が止まらなかったり・・・本当に大変だったそうです。
そんな彼女の側にいた男友達。
真面目で実直な彼は「代わってやりたかった」と今でも言っています。
彼の愛は献身的なものでした。
彼女の状態に対して、いつもアンテナをめぐらせ、それに合わせた対応をする。
彼女が少しでも安らげる様に・楽しく過ごせるように・・・と彼は努力したそうです。
彼女を知ろうと、本を沢山買って来ては読んだそうです。
本当の愛情って、こういったことを指すのだろうなと思いました。
頑張りに頑張った彼でしたが、自分の精神も病んでしまい互いのためにならないと別れを決意したそうです。
今でも彼女への愛情は口ぶりから感じ取れるので、見ていて切ない限りです（涙）
どんなに頑張っても乗り越えられないものもある。
そんな現実を突きつけられたようで胸がチクリと痛みますが、私もそこまで愛せる誰かを欲しいなとも思いますし、愛する人に真っ直ぐ向き合える自分でありたいと改めて思いました。
